Nago Pineapple Park

Will I ever figure out how to perfect these pictures on the posts? It is driving my scrapbooking sense crazy. We had a teriffic weekend. Sunday we saw the new Indy Movie. We liked it. I am still a Indy 3 fan and Brian says nothing tops the first Indy. The girls have never seen the originals, so we have them coming on Nexflix. Sigh. Anyway on Saturday we ventured forth and went north. We took the Expressway (the only place on the island where you can legally do 80kph) as far north as it would go!! Yipee. Notice that is kilometers per hour, so it is not nearly as impressive as it sounds. You average about 40 kph on the island, so 80kpm seems really fast! We found our way the Nago Pineapple Park. Fun! There was a little ride that took us through the pineapple fields and the botanical gardens. Very tropical! The little cars drove themselves and the girls made the park personnel smile by saying, "This is just like Jurassic Park!!" After the ride we got to tour the plant to see and taste all the great pineapple products they had. Our take for the day was Pineapple Wine, Lime Jelly (Brian thought he was getting the pineapple jelly), Pineapple chocolate, and Noodles (not pineapple). They had all kinds of things like, pineapple pie, pineapple cake, pineapple wine cake, pineapple cookies, pineapple pancakes, pineapple juice, pineapple biscuts, etc. Very fun.
