The Food at the Tuna House

The food did not disappoint! After some careful consideration, (Brian is serious about sushi) we decided on some dishes. The rolls you see are a rainbow roll and a salmon roll. We had never had kiwi on a roll before and we just had to try it. It was really good. The citrus added a neat zing to the roll. I am going to have to remember that when I make sushi. Emily is enjoying her tempura roll and in the foreground you can see my tuna sashimi and Brian's sweetened egg nigiri. The milky looking drink by Emily is called Calpis. It is a soda that tastes exactly like Fruity Pebbles! The girls always look for it when we go out. We also had some mushroom tempura. It was made with those long skinny mushrooms and had a light, delicate taste. We were soooo full when we left, but it was worth it! A++++!

Omg it looks amazing, and I'm totally with Brian on this -sushi is serious business=o)! We just have to come and visit and I'm not going to be pregnant when we do because I would want to eat at the Tuna house every day! How is the pricing on the sushi compared to here?

I would say it is slightly less expensive, but not by a whole lot. It is super fresh though...that tuna sashimi was amazing! I will worry about the mercury later :)!!
