We have been looking forward to going out to eat all week! This is the Tuna House, the place where our sponsors took us out to eat the day after we arrived in Japan. We scouted around during the week and found it again on our own. When you come in, you remove your shoes and sit where the hostess asks you to take a seat. They are very friendly! You can see the seating in one of the pictures. In the photo with our shoes, you will notice one pair that has Japanese writing on them. Those are the shoes that you put on if you need to go to the bathroom. You don't wear your own shoes into the loo! And....I know some of you were wondering...they do have funny potties there!
