Swimming Lessons

The girls are having a blast at swimming lessons. They have lessons M-F, so we are at the pool a lot. Sound familiar, Mom? Kenzie is in level 4 and really taking on the challenge. Their lesson is 50 minutes long and they swim laps working on stroke development and refinement. She is currently learning the breaststroke and elementary backstroke. Her favorite stroke is the backstroke (Yay, that makes me soooo proud!!!). I clued her in on what the flags across the pool are for and she doesn't stop and flip over on her stomach anymore :). Emily is also doing well. She is in level 3 and just having a ball. It is hard to photograph her because she loves to be underwater ("Like a shark, Mom!"), but she does have a really good front crawl. She is still a bit intimidated by the thought of going to the deep end. I think once she figures out if you can swim on the top of 4 feet of water you can also swim on the top of 13 feet of water, there will be no stopping her. It was worth sitting for hours in the rain!
