Happy Birthday McKenzie!
McKenzie turned 10 today. Can you believe it? We have a child in the double digits. I surprised the girls with a trip to Cocok's for a pedicure. They loved it and selected toenail art to complement their swimsuits. Swimming is a huge part of their world right now. We went to swimming lessons as usual...the President could be coming for dinner and we would still go to swimming lessons. After swimming lessons the girls dressed up and we went to Macaroni Grill. They really liked the fact that I let them raid my jewelery armoire to accesorize. That never happens! Finally it was time for cake. Kenzie wanted a bison birthday. Go figure. At first, I was not sure how I was going to pull it off. So I called upon the best bison artist I know..the birthday girl. I had her sketch a bison for me and then I interpreted it on her cake. I even had her trace the outline of the bison with a toothpick in the frosting so that it could be as authentic as possible. I got a thumbs up from all parties involved. Mission accomplished.
Happy Birthday Kenzie!!! I looks like you girls had a wonderful day. And I LOVE the bison cake, only Kenzie would have picked that. :) Congrats on being double digits!
The cake looked amazing, you all did a fantabulous job! I hope you had as wonderful day as Ayden. We spent the whole day in Boise, shopping at Cabelas, lunch at Red Robin, and then met the family at Eagle Island state parks and swam. We are all so exhausted: )We really missed sharing it with Kenzie and you all. : ( Love and miss ya!
