Here are some pictures from some recent happenings. First, Emily's Spring Fling Gymnastics meet. She was nervous, but did a great job. D and Alex gave up their afternoon to come cheer her on. Awwww, what good friends. D gave us some good inside info, gymnastics was her sport growing up. I have no clue about gymnastics, it was just something that Emily was interested in pursuing so I am learning right along with her.
Next, some pictures of Kenzie and her third straight quarter on the honor roll. We couldn't be prouder. Kudos, Kenzie!
Finally, Emily had to write a story about an experience she had. She chose to write about our family trip to Yellowstone some years back. She did a great job on the story. She created a diorama and a little puppet show illustrating her story for the class. Very cute. She also took in our favorite book about Yellowstone, "Who Pooped in the Park?". Her teacher has promised to read it out loud to the class. Kids love stories about poop...some things never change.
