Vegetable Market

D took me to a vegetable market off base. What a good find D! The produce on base is expensive and sad looking. Here is where all the Japanese people shop for their produce (no English, you must be able to identify everything by sight). It is a farmer's market, so it is straight out of the fields. Fresh and cheap!! It even has fresh flowers and fish. Yay. We committed only one faux pas...we forgot to bring our own bag and had to purchase a plastic one...oops! They were nice to us though and we will remember our bag next time...oh yes...there will be a next time..and a time after that...and so on and so forth.

Well, I have started a new diet that has lots of lean and green..so I was stocking up on the green and the Tuna Sashimi is my favorite lean meat.

In the basket there are sprouts, two types of lettuce, eggplant, cucumber, green beans and Maguro Sashimi. Yay!
